Mira was happy that she got a doll w/ a stroler!

I finally got Mira & my dress done! I even put pockets in my dress!

Bug Bomb!!!!!

A BUG BOMB went off in my house the other night!!! i was making cookies for the kids & getting ready for their bed & I heard this hissing noise & smelled this weird smell! I thought gas? NO, It smelled to sweet! So I followed the noise opened up the laundry area & got a face full of bug bomb smoke!!! I closed the door & picked up all the kids & put them the the boy's room while I ran around the house w/ a towel over my mouth & nose to get everything together to leave! I had no ides where I was going to go & Barton kept calling me telling me to hurry up & get out of there! I hung up on him the last time he called!
I called Cheryl & Got Bill & told him what had happened & he said "with his bug bombs he has to push down the button for them to go off" I thought well that would be the norm! I have no idea how it went off it just did! CRAZY! RIGHT? I KNOW!
But anywho, I showed up at Cheryl's laughing & having a headache. I think I was a little high off the fumes!
Barton called me & left a message & said that I did a go job of keeping it all in one place & getting the kids out of there! It was not easy keeping Devin in the room & leaving the house we had to pretend that we were in a war & a bomb went off in our house & we have to leave in a hurry so the enemy doesn't not get us! They really got into it!

I can't believe that he is 3. Such a big boy. We kind of had a costume party for his Birthday. It was cute. He had chocolate cake his favorite & ice cream not his favorite. He got into the cake before we could start & as soon as he ate his cake he went & got into his presents. It was funny. No one was done w there cake & Devin did want Devin wanted to do & sense it was his B-day & it didn't hurt anyone I let him.
J.C. came over & helped him celebrate. He dressed as a hillbilly. His mom Lisa made the cake & the pops. You can get a hold of her at www.myspace.com/mcentire1 . (She does many other things besides B-day cakes just take a look see). Michele & Paige came & got him a game. His 2 Great grandmothers. And his Grandma Mary. We all had a blast. Devin got Transformer toys & carries them every where & will not let them down. It is so funny. Mom & Dad got him this Fisher Price bike that hooks up to the TV & you can play games but it stop working for some reason so we are taking that back. That morning he crawled in bed w/ me & I gave him a huge & said "Happy Birthday Devin!!" He said "Happy Birthday Mom." To funny. I love you, Devin!! Stop jumping off high things & tyring to get into meds so you can have many more B-days. My little lovey man monster.

Wednesday Michael started his 1st Piano Lesson. His teacher said "He is a wonderful student! & he pays attention." She also says that she thinks that he will learn the music pretty fast!
I am so proud of him!!! I got him a key broad so that he can practice practice practice!

A few months ago I went to Marcie Mom's house who is a photographer in Kearney & she took some pictures of Devin & Michael. I didn't want Mira under the light she was much to young then. I've had Michael's & just got Devin's pictures in. We were just playing around & didn't think we got any thing really special because Devin would not stop moving! So here they are! Aren't they great! I love my boys!

The Dinos

Yesterday The In-Laws took us to Powell Gardens! (Yes, Barton went with us!)
We all had a good time. The dinos were really cool! The boys played in the sand & found bones!!!! Mira loved the colors. I think it really helped her take her mind off her teeth. So we were 3/4 the way threw & Devin started crying. I think his poor little ears are still hurting him! Poor Baby. When we came home Grandma & Michael rocked out & played some music! Not the music I'm really into, but it is Mary!LOL

Tonight Paige & Michele came over for pizza & when we were done I started cutting the boy's hair & Paige sat & watched me very closely, so I said "your next" she said "ok"! She let me cut her hair!!!!! She was wanting to go short but she couldn't just yet. I did take off over 2inches & that is a lot for someone who has never had short hair!
In all she loves it & I am so glad that she does!!!!! I really like it also. My Aunt is going to send me some tapes on cutting hair so I can do a little more on the side & bring in some money. When Paige comes over to pick up Michael she has asked me to style her hair. I think I can so that sense she makes sure Michael is safe to & from school!

Threw the eyes of my children. Please help me!!! I can't stop laughing

This Morning like 5 mins ago I striped the bed to wash the sheets & towels, well I came back into my room after throwing everything in the washer to find Devin under the yellow egg carton shape foam pad!!! He said " Sponge Bob Square Pants MOM!'
I am still laughing about it.

Last year Michael woke up w/ a stuffy nose & says " Mom can I use your nose? My nose is not working"

i would give you something funny that Mira said but she doesn't talk yet

This past Saturday Mira & Mommy had our first Mother Daughter Day!!!!! We went to the Renaissance Festival with Michele & Paige (mother & daughter). We had lots of fun with lots of weird people. We listen to music & watch some guy hang up side down & get out of a straight jacket. I got Mira a Princess hat & people started taking pictures of her because they new that she was the only real royalty there! LOL
I got my hair braided & the next day after church I took it out & asked Micheal (while my hair looked super crazy with weird curls every where) " how do I look?' Michael responded " SASSY!!!" He didn't miss a beat!
Michele & Paige got Henna tattoos. Paige got the Chinese sign of a Dragon & Michele got some flowers of her ankle. It was loads of fun.

Yesterday was Michael's FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL!!!!!!!

He woke at 6:45 am& took a shower then Mom had his oatmeal & milk ready for him!! He ate it all up.

Then Paige came over& ate breakfast with us then took him to the bus stop. (It was her first day of HIGH SCHOOL!)

They missed the bus it came early that day so we jumped in the van & I took them to school. Micheal went into his class . His teacher is Mrs.Wolfe. Michael says "I'm scared of wolfs mom" I told him that " it will be OK that he won't see here at night or during a full moon!" He was just fine after that & is really liking his new teacher.

He rode home on the bus & sat with Paige who he loves very much.

Michael going to school is so wonderful & it's another nail my coffin!!! lol

Devin asked all day "were Michael go?" He is not use to this just yet. He loves his brother

Farmers Ins. hosted Little Miss. & Mr.Lathrop during the Friendship Festival, so I let Michael be a part of it. His number was 9. He didn't win & that was just fine. Number 10 won & Michael went up to him & shook his hand & told him "way to go"! In my eye's & heart he won.

Michael went to his Granparents house last weekend & spent the night!! He said that he had lots of fun. (Grandparenta are fun!) They rode bikes up & down the street& they put hand prints on a quilt that Grandma is making!

We recently celebrated Michael's 5th B-day!!!! We all had such a blast! The Grove kids came over & some friends from Michael's school also came over to wish him a Happy B-day!!!

We played many games & ate lots of cake. I can't believe it's been 5 years already

Mira was blessed July 1st of 2007.

It was a wonderful blessing.

Br. Wold gave her the blessing & he did an awesome job!!!

Mira would not stop crying & he didn't let that stop him from giving her her blessing.

He blessed her with many things. She will be a great help to her Mother (ME) & she will have a great impact on her family her Ward & her community.

I put her hair in pig tails & she wore a white dress with baby blue flowers & a blue ribbon for an empire waist.

When he was done he turn her to him & gave her a huge.

It was very sweet & a magicaly day!!!!!

The Brookshers recently went to the Omaha Zoo w/ Michele & Paige. We all had so much fun!!!!! We saw all sorts of different animals(& people).

This picture was taken right when we got there. Yes, the kids are tired. They were up the night before swimming in the pool & jumping on the hotel's bed. They didn't get to sleep til min-night. It was loads of fun.
