A BUG BOMB went off in my house the other night!!! i was making cookies for the kids & getting ready for their bed & I heard this hissing noise & smelled this weird smell! I thought gas? NO, It smelled to sweet! So I followed the noise opened up the laundry area & got a face full of bug bomb smoke!!! I closed the door & picked up all the kids & put them the the boy's room while I ran around the house w/ a towel over my mouth & nose to get everything together to leave! I had no ides where I was going to go & Barton kept calling me telling me to hurry up & get out of there! I hung up on him the last time he called!
I called Cheryl & Got Bill & told him what had happened & he said "with his bug bombs he has to push down the button for them to go off" I thought well that would be the norm! I have no idea how it went off it just did! CRAZY! RIGHT? I KNOW!
But anywho, I showed up at Cheryl's laughing & having a headache. I think I was a little high off the fumes!
Barton called me & left a message & said that I did a go job of keeping it all in one place & getting the kids out of there! It was not easy keeping Devin in the room & leaving the house we had to pretend that we were in a war & a bomb went off in our house & we have to leave in a hurry so the enemy doesn't not get us! They really got into it!
I can't believe that he is 3. Such a big boy. We kind of had a costume party for his Birthday. It was cute. He had chocolate cake his favorite & ice cream not his favorite. He got into the cake before we could start & as soon as he ate his cake he went & got into his presents. It was funny. No one was done w there cake & Devin did want Devin wanted to do & sense it was his B-day & it didn't hurt anyone I let him.
J.C. came over & helped him celebrate. He dressed as a hillbilly. His mom Lisa made the cake & the pops. You can get a hold of her at www.myspace.com/mcentire1 . (She does many other things besides B-day cakes just take a look see). Michele & Paige came & got him a game. His 2 Great grandmothers. And his Grandma Mary. We all had a blast. Devin got Transformer toys & carries them every where & will not let them down. It is so funny. Mom & Dad got him this Fisher Price bike that hooks up to the TV & you can play games but it stop working for some reason so we are taking that back. That morning he crawled in bed w/ me & I gave him a huge & said "Happy Birthday Devin!!" He said "Happy Birthday Mom." To funny. I love you, Devin!! Stop jumping off high things & tyring to get into meds so you can have many more B-days. My little lovey man monster.
Wednesday Michael started his 1st Piano Lesson. His teacher said "He is a wonderful student! & he pays attention." She also says that she thinks that he will learn the music pretty fast!
I am so proud of him!!! I got him a key broad so that he can practice practice practice!
A few months ago I went to Marcie Mom's house who is a photographer in Kearney & she took some pictures of Devin & Michael. I didn't want Mira under the light she was much to young then. I've had Michael's & just got Devin's pictures in. We were just playing around & didn't think we got any thing really special because Devin would not stop moving! So here they are! Aren't they great! I love my boys!

Yesterday The In-Laws took us to Powell Gardens! (Yes, Barton went with us!)
We all had a good time. The dinos were really cool! The boys played in the sand & found bones!!!! Mira loved the colors. I think it really helped her take her mind off her teeth. So we were 3/4 the way threw & Devin started crying. I think his poor little ears are still hurting him! Poor Baby. When we came home Grandma & Michael rocked out & played some music! Not the music I'm really into, but it is Mary!LOL
